- Call Family Eye Care of Woodstock and Lake Geneva to schedule an appointment. Allow 1-2 hours for complete exam, depending on your individual needs such as dilation, retinal photos, or special testing.
- Provide your medical or vision insurance information. We also accept cash.
- Complete your 'Medical History' and 'Billing Policy' forms before your visit.
- If you choose to complete the medical history and billing policy forms at our office, arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
- When you arrive, sign in and speak to a receptionist. Provide a photo ID and your insurance cards.
- You might prefer to shop for frames before you see the doctor because if your eyes are dilated, it is difficult to choose frames.
- Allow 15 minutes for us to enter your information into our secure system.
- You will be greeted by an optician for pretesting lasting approximately 20 minutes.
- After pretesting, you will be given a complete and thorough eye exam.
